The truth is, anyone can take pictures. A self timer, a tri-pod, your drunk uncle, your friend who’s an communications major - anyone can. But to be a photographer - to be skilled, to be tedious, to be an expert in their craft - they have to reflect what you feel, capture it, create it, and stand by their art. Brit is the the most legitimate photographer I’ve ever worked with.
Brit was able to do that for my husband and I through the best moments of our relationship. From drenching ourselves in the ocean at sunset, to paddle boarding across a windy lake, to intimate photos in a blank canvas Airbnb all the way to the altar in front of our 100 closest family and friends.
We had worked so much on ourselves, our lives and our relationship – we wanted the photos to be equal to our own effort.
We wanted someone who could pull our joy, our love, and our fun out of us and put it on display. From candids, to dramatic, to good and bad lighting. Let's be honest. How many of us document our lives enough? Even just creating this website, it was SO hard for me to find photos of myself and my life.
