Mom of 2 & a wife. You can catch me in my free time doing hot mom shit..aka laying in crumbs, constantly cleaning, and stepping on legos.

I grew up in the weeee little town of Madras, and spent my years in Central Oregon until eventually making the move up to Salem in 2016. I was a caregiver for a long time until having my daughter, then ended up falling in love with photography. A long story that I will not bore you with. Nowadays I spend my time outside of work on my little homestead. I have an extreme passion for special needs animals. After losing my first special needs baby girl Daisy in December of 2024, I realized how large my passion is for them. Which led me to my newest addition, Wheelbur! The cutest, most bestest wheelchair dog.

Also can't name this section my "everyday life" without my ridiculously unhealthy Red Bull addiction. It is seriously a problem.

onto the fun stuff

If you’re looking for a photographer who is a mix of literally everything…hi, I'm Brit! Whether its giving your mama a tissue, helping bustle your dress, flicking shit to your groomsmen, chugging a 'Claw with you, or literally whatever else...I am thereeee for it. So take a lil scroll and fall in love with me the same way I'm gonna fall in love with you!

Well hi, hello, how are you!?

So what should you expect when you choose me to be your photographer? First, I would like to acknowledge how difficult it is to narrow it down and choose the right fit. If you do choose me, I will choose you back 10000%. I am not just a photographer, but a person too! So it is important to me that we are a good fit. My personality is fun & outgoing, but also emotional & poetic. I spend my spare time with my family, my animals, and my garden with 90's & 00's R&B, Zach Bryan, or some sort of d4vd radio blasting in the background. My evenings are spent playing PUBG Mobile, Rummikub, or Monopoly online. I have a dark sense of humor and a (not so) little bit of the f word sprinkled into my personality. If that isn't your cup of tea, tooootally chill! We may not be the best fit & with no hard feelings, I am happy to point you to someone who is.

One of my super powers is making YOU comfortable in front of my camera. Something I pride myself in is my ability to do that, and my reviews say that in almost every single one. When you show up to our session, I am prepared to make it fun & easy. You don't have to worry about what to do with your hands, where you should be standing, etc. I am the perfect mix of documentary style & traditional style. I will absolutely make sure that you have the traditional wedding photos without missing all of the little "documentary" moments. You will not be forced to choose between the two styles. I have a unique ability to pay attention to the little things with intention and depth behind every photo.

All jokes and bubbly fun aside...I spent the last 3 years in weekly very intense therapy (where are my therapy besties at?), and in that I learned how to have actual emotions. Something I have never experienced up until I began therapy. I have worked through so much of my childhood. I have stood face to face with my traumas. I have learned how to adapt quickly. I have learned to be gentle in moments of high stress. I have learned how to appreciate so many more little details in peoples moments when I am photographing them.

That being said, I love hard. I feel hard. I care about your feelings. I want emotions to be reflected in my photos. I don't just want the Instagramable moments. I want to capture the feeling. I want my photos to take you directly back to that moment. I want you to feel them. I will listen to every single detail I receive.

My job is to tell your story, and I will do just that.

(but like if tinder was for searching for photographers)
