So what should you expect when you choose me to be your photographer? First, I would like to acknowledge how difficult it is to narrow it down and choose the right fit. If you do choose me, I will choose you back 10000%. I am not just a photographer, but a person too! So it is important to me that we are a good fit. My personality is fun & outgoing, but also emotional & poetic. I spend my spare time with my family, my animals, and my garden with 90's & 00's R&B, Zach Bryan, or some sort of d4vd radio blasting in the background. My evenings are spent playing PUBG Mobile, Rummikub, or HayDay. I have a dark sense of humor and a (not so) little bit of the f word sprinkled into my personality. If that isn't your cup of tea, tooootally chill! We may not be the best fit & with no hard feelings, I am happy to point you to someone who is.
One of my super powers is making YOU comfortable in front of my camera. Something I pride myself in is my ability to do that, and my reviews say that in almost every single one. When you show up to our session, I am prepared to make it fun & easy. You don't have to worry about what to do with your hands, where you should be standing, etc. I am the perfect mix of documentary style & traditional style. I will absolutely make sure that you have the traditional wedding photos without missing all of the little "documentary" moments. You will not be forced to choose between the two styles. I have a unique ability to pay attention to the little things with intention and depth behind every photo.
All jokes and bubbly fun aside...I spent the last 3 years in weekly very intense therapy (where are my therapy queens & kings at?!), and in that I learned how to have actual emotions. Something I have never experienced up until I began therapy. I have worked through so much of my childhood. I have stood face to face with my traumas. I have learned how to adapt quickly. I have learned to be gentle in moments of high stress. I have learned how to appreciate so many more little details in peoples moments when I am photographing them.
That being said, I love hard. I feel hard. I care about your feelings. I want emotions to be reflected in my photos. I don't just want the Instagramable moments. I want to capture the feeling. I want my photos to take you directly back to that moment. I want you to feel them. I will listen to every single detail I receive.
My job is to tell your story, and I will do just that.
